SAVE MONEY WITH ‘PAJAMAS AND HERBAL TEA‘

29/11/2022

Are you looking for ways to save money and stay warm this winter? Here‘s the solution: ‘Pajamas and herbal tea‘ and many other tips. If cool outfits for staying indoors were sought after with the arrival of the pandemic, now it‘s back to grandma‘s habits.

The return of fleece pajamas and stuffed slippers is guaranteed judging by rising gas and electricity prices. In times of price hikes, the search for alternative ways to put off lighting boilers or reduce their hours of operation is on.
Those with fireplaces are trying to reserve what‘s left of wood and pellets, which, given the high demand and skyrocketing prices, are already sold out in several areas of the peninsula, but more importantly, there is an explosion of alternative strategies for warming up at home that are reminiscent of grandmothers‘ habits: from plaids to stuffed blanket, fleece to pajamas and even shawls. Plus warmers, electric blankets and flannel sheets making a big comeback.
Left in the drawers will be the lightweight nightgowns, silk pajamas and light jumpsuits that ensured us a sporty and oversized home outfit but with an elegant and cool touch as proposed by designers since the arrival of the pandemic.
Boom of padded sofa blankets, even fitted with sleeves, which are sure to be on the list of the most beaten gifts for next Christmas, along with electric blankets and thermal pillows for beds, portable ‘thermophores‘ (heated mats in which to wrap the most cold-sensitive areas of the body) and portable (now hitech version) rechargeable mini-warmers. Not to mention electric, padded foot warmers to slip into (there is also a hand-warming version) when your feet get frosty.
They are followed by electric resistance and fan heaters, which, however, have high power consumption, even up to 2000Watts. This method of heating does not shine in energy efficiency and therefore they are not a viable alternative to heating but are instead very useful for heating small rooms, such as the bathroom, where it only takes a few minutes to reach the desired temperature.
Instead, infrared heaters are promoted, which provide some energy savings compared to other electric heaters.
Among the most popular strategies in use at the moment among bloggers and video tutorials, finally, some simple principles to avoid heat loss and have a warm and cozy home: from limiting drafts as much as possible to closing the doors of rooms you do not use. Also use screen curtains on balconies.
