Geraldine Alasio with her brand Be You creates knits and sweaters produced and processed in Mongolia but designed in Italy. Have you ever throught about creating your own uniquely italian brand by favoring grant funding that is offered?

Geraldine Alasio created her brand in 2008, almost by accident, after a trip to the Asian region. She then went from the family business, which has been working in the world of clothing distribution for years, to creating a brand.
Be You offers a collection of about 95 designs that are distributed in Italy with 200 stores, but are also exported to many other countries in Europe and around the world.
‘The brand is very much centered on me,-tells Geraldine- I design the style part, while two people take care of logistics, as well as a valuable assistant. The sales network consists of nine agents, two other people follow the online, created in 2020. Every year we produce about 20,000 garments‘
‘The collection includes many continuous garments, the so-called ‘never out of stock‘-Geraldine again tells us-, models that represent 30 percent of the production. The rest tries to be current without being too tied to the fashion of the moment. Be you aims to be transversal and very simple.‘
Jerseys that warm you in winter and caress you in summer, as Geraldine likes to call them, and that aim to propose a natural and simple elegance: ‘I never thought of changing women, on the contrary, I always wished that my jerseys could make them feel themselves and thus make them smile.‘
